The Wills for Heroes clinics provide essential legal documents free of charge to our nation’s first responders, including wills, living wills, and powers of attorney. By helping first responders plan now, they ensure their family's legal affairs are in order before a tragedy hits.
These documents are prepared on site and executed the same day.
We need volunteers to assist as witnesses (18 years of age and older) and Delaware notaries to assist with the execution process once the documents are prepared.
There is a MANDATORY two hour training for all new volunteers from 9:00 to 11:00 am. Two shifts are available and volunteers may sign up for one, or both shifts:
11:30 am to 2:30 pm or 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm
Morning refreshments and lunch will be provided to volunteers.
Remember, for every 3 hours of legal-based pro bono work, you receive 1 DPA CLE credit towards renewing your DCP certification.
